Chief Financial & Administrative Officer
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Ten or more years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including at least five years leading teams or functions at a senior level
- Substantive experience with federal Title IV financial aid in higher education, postsecondary career training, or another eligible institution
- Proven success strengthening or rebuilding finance operations, controls, procedures, reporting, and team capability

Step Into Meaningful Work
Summit Academy OIC needs a leader to mature its recently redesigned finance function, ensuring forecasting discipline, clean audits, and confident financial stewardship of federal and state aid dollars. This leader will elevate the Office of Finance & Administration into a disciplined, service-oriented operation with strong controls and reliable forecasting. They will provide executive oversight of federal Title IV and Minnesota State Grant financial aid compliance and audit readiness, and lead enterprise financial strategy, budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning to guide long-term sustainability.
This leader will work alongside the President & CEO, Board, and cost center leaders to build a culture of financial ownership and accountability. The first years will focus on strengthening controls, bringing cost center leaders into financial ownership, and safeguarding Title IV and MN State Grant compliance. The right person will thrive in a mission-centered environment, balancing compliance, financial stewardship, and opportunity for every student the organization serves.
Wages & Compensation
This role offers a competitive salary of $180,000 - $205,000, commensurate with experience.
